Lawmaker representing Afijio constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Seyi Adisa is always winning.
The lawyer, a Principal Secretary to late politician, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has been selected as one of the 22 Young African Leaders for the 2023Â Archbishop Tutu Fellowship leadership.
Adisa was selected among over 380 nominations of outstanding quality of personalities across Africa.
The lawmaker’s emergence was in recognition of his quality leadership style, contributing to the inclusion and participation of young people in politics and governance and his track record that showcases active involvement in creating programmes to drive youth participation in politics.
The elated politician, who is not new to winning laurels and recognitions with his youth empowerment programmes in skill acquisition, sports, leadership development and ICT, with a view to developing young Nigerian leaders was named among the top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent under 40 by the United Nations-affiliate in 2022 and was nominated among the Most Influential Young Person in Oyo State in the Governance category by the Youth awards.
