PASTOR Osagie Ize-Iyamu has emerged the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State after sweeping the primaries of the party conducted at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Monday.
Ize-Iyamu, who polled 584 votes, representing about 82 per cent of valid votes, defeated, Hon Matthew Uduoriyekemwen, who scored 91 votes and Solomon Edebiri, who polled 37 votes.
