Russia-based Nigerian entrepreneur and singer, Timileyin Adeleke, has revealed how a humble side hustle of washing jeans for university students became the unlikely foundation for his rise into global business.
Long before he began building companies across continents, Adeleke was simply trying to survive. Living close to a student community, he noticed a pattern—many students disliked washing heavy denim.
Sensing an opportunity in their discomfort, he stepped in with a simple service that would later shape his entrepreneurial journey.
“I washed jeans for them and they paid me well,” he recalled, describing what would become his earliest lesson in identifying and monetising everyday problems.
That modest hustle marked the beginning of a mindset that would define his future.
Today, Adeleke stands at the helm of a growing business network, including AT Global, with operations spanning Nigeria, Russia, Dubai, and Sierra Leone.
His journey to the top, however, was far from straightforward.

After years of navigating financial struggles across Nigeria and parts of Africa, he eventually found his way to Russia, armed with little more than determination and a desire for something bigger.
While pursuing his education abroad, Adeleke began exploring opportunities in international trade and logistics. What started as small, experimental ventures gradually evolved into structured enterprises with cross-border reach.
Over time, AT Global expanded into a multi-regional operation, facilitating trade links and logistics services across diverse markets, positioning Adeleke as a growing force in international business.
Beyond profit margins, his ventures have also created employment opportunities for a diverse workforce, bringing together Russians, Africans, and other nationals under one operational umbrella.
Back home in Nigeria, his companies continue to provide jobs and contribute to local economic development, reinforcing his commitment to giving back to the system that shaped him.
For Adeleke, the motivation runs deeper than financial success. “I know what it feels like to have nothing,” he said. “That is why creating opportunities for others matters to me.”
His story, from washing jeans for survival to managing a cross-continental enterprise, captures a journey defined by resilience, vision, and an ability to turn the most ordinary observations into extraordinary outcomes.
