Nollywood actress, Ebere Nwizu, is set to make a big come back in the movie industry with into the cinema industry.
In a recent interview, she shared the secret behind her scandal-free lifestyle and her passion for advocating a healthy mindset.
Ebere said she believes in the power of a healthy mindset, emphasising that it leads to making wise and virtuous choices, both for oneself and for the greater good.
“I know exactly what I want and what it takes to achieve it. It’s a blessing from God to not only desire something but also understand how to make it a reality. I also channel my focus towards things that truly matter, like advocating for better ways in which men and women can unlock their full potential and lead more fulfilling lives.”
Apart from her commitment to maintaining a scandal-free image, Ebere is also staging a comeback in the world of cinema. She is set to grace the screens in two upcoming movies, “Praise Party” and “MINÈÈ,” scheduled for release in November 2023.
Ebere spoke about her recent busy schedule, which involved filmmaking, travel, content creation, and more.
“I’m currently on a press tour to promote two films: ‘Praise Party,’ directed by Obi Martins and produced by the remarkable Anuli Ajagu, and ‘MINÈÈ.’ Both films were challenging and intense from an actor’s perspective. I have faith that cinema enthusiasts and Nollywood fans will relish these productions,” she stated.
In “Praise Party,” Ebere portrays a married woman juggling her career and a troubled marriage. She faces a daunting choice – to fight for her marriage or to flee. “MINÈÈ,” on the other hand, sees her in the role of Onome, a drug-addicted prostitute involved with the streets’ underworld. Ebere noted the mental challenges of playing this complex character, speaking in pidgin, and delving into the intricacies of a character seeking a shortcut to a better life through seemingly easy choices that ultimately lead to a harsh reality.
Ebere Nwizu’s story is one of resilience, dedication to her craft, and a commitment to promoting positive values in both her personal life and her work in the entertainment industry. Her return to the silver screen is eagerly awaited by her fans and the Nigerian cinema audience.
