FOLLOWING Boko Haram attack on Government Girls Technical College, Dapchi in Yobe State, with many of the students unaccounted for, President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered security agencies to mobilise and take charge of the school.

He had also dispatched a delegation led by the Minister of Defense, Masur Dan-Ali to Dapchi in Yobe state for an on-the-spot assessment.

The terrorists invaded the school on Monday night and allegedly abducted a number of the students.

Briefing State House correspondents after attending the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, other members of the delegation are Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geofrey Onyeama and the Minister of Information.

He said the government delegation will get first-hand information on the attack.

Mohammed said: “Mr President has directed military and other security agencies to take immediate charge and control of Government Girls Technical College, Dapchi, and informed him of developments.
