Mr Gboyega Famodun, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, has commended Gov Gboyega Oyetola over his proactive measures to halt the spread of the coronavirus.
Famodun, in a statement issued by his media consultant, Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo on Tuesday stated that the proactive approach adopted by the state government was the hallmark of a responsive and responsible administration.
The statement urged members and leaders of the APC and the people of the state to bear with the temporary unintended pains of the government directives which were for their own good.
It said that the numerous genuine efforts of the government relating to the issue at stake should be appreciated by all and sundry.

The statement explained that the issue at hand had to do with the sustainability of the wholesome lives of the entire people of the state which should not, in any way, be politicised by the opposition.
It appealed to the opposition to partner with Oyetola by volunteering information on how to tackle the scourge of coronavirus disease from the state.
The statement recalled that the governor in a statewide broadcast on Sunday rolled out some of the programmes of his administration aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus.
