A gang of kidnappers struck in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, Monday, kidnapped the wife of Eggon Youth President in the state, Daniel Anyabuga.
Tribune Online learnt that the woman was allegedly abducted by ten gunmen who stormed the resident of the Youth leader at Ombi 2 Lafia, between 10 and 11 pm and took the wife away to an unknown destination.
Confirming the development in a telephone conversation, state Commissioner of police, Bola Longe, said four persons connected to the crime have been arrested, while a motorcycle used for the operation have also been recovered.

According to the CP, those arrested include two Fulani herders and two indigenes .
The commissioner who gave an assurance that the kidnapped victim would be rescued and reunited with her family called on the public especially the resident of the state to assist the police with useful information that could lead to the rescue of the victim.
He stated that kidnappers would not have a hiding place in Nasarawa state as the police are determined to rid the state of crimes and criminality.
