Nigerians have expressed their excitement following the lifting of the visa ban on the country’s citizens by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

However, the ban has now been lifted after President Bola Tinubu secured a landmark deal with the UAE government across sectors.
The decision to lift the ban follows talks between Tinubu and his Emirati counterpart, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
The announcement of the visa ban lift has continued to elicit reactions from social media users who took to to hail President Tinubu for facilitating the visa ban lift.
