Ibadan high Chief, Oloye Lekan Alabi, is a happy man at the moment. The reason for the Agba-Akin Olubadan of Ibadanland and cultural Ambassador of the National Museum’s joy has to do with the wedding ceremony of his son, Olayemi which comes up on August 25 in Tottenham, London, the United States.
Olayemi followed in his father’s foot steps as friends revealed that Chief Lekan Alabi also married Olayemi’s mother, Adetokunbo at the St John’s Anglican Church, London on August 12, 1978.
The wedding announcement came as a good news to both families and friends of the young couple.
The bride-to-be, Adesola is from the Adefioye royal family in Ile-Ife, Osun State and she studied Pharmacy, while the groom is a practising lawyer.
The wedding ceremony wil be preceded by a traditional ceremony on August 18th also in Tottenham, London.
