A fast-rising star, Christianah Ademuyiwa with stage name Raebel, who recently trended on TikTok for her topnotch free-styling prowess is set to release her highly anticipated debut single titled ‘miniskirt’.
Her single track is now a radio anthem and dance floor filler. In fact, a radio talk show rated it as an excellent produced song because it fuses elements of dancehall and afrobeat into an infectious beat met with Raebel’s powerful and distinct vocal style. The presenter also noted that her lyric, ‘I’m Not Like Your Other Girls’ message is beautifully captured by the instant sing-along hook, ensuring MINISKIRT will be ladies’ anthem in nightclubs this festive period.
Raebel is a star in waiting, who was brought to the attention of the world via social media guru Tunde Ednut who started shouting from the rooftops about Reabels’ freestyle, which he discovered on Instagram. Tunde Ednut reposted the freestyle resulting in the freestyle amassing 1000’s of views and grabbing the attention of a host of record labels, thereby starting a bidding war! Ultimately Konvest Music came out victorious, and that very same freestyle has been perfectly crafted into the debut single, ‘miniskirt’.
Raebel said when she first started music, her mom wasn’t surprised and that her dad began to fall in love with it when he found out it was her calling.
While reacting to where she will be in five years, she said, “The industry is growing and as the gaint of Africa, we have a lot more to discover amongst ourselves, honestly, there are a lot of talents yet to be discovered.”
