Dr Oluwapelumi Olowookere who completed his one year mandatory service in July 2020 led his colleagues, Adams Ndanusa and Dr Emeka Ogbonna to the religious institutions in Bachure and Luggere areas of Jimeta Yola.

Congregants and religious leaders were also educated on appropriate guidelines guiding worship in religious houses, while flyers/posters printed in Hausa, Fulfulde and English languages were distributed to enlighten the residents on the novel virus.
Leaders of the benefiting religious houses in their separate remarks expressed appreciation to the organisers and sponsors for counting them worthy of such an impactful gesture.
The presiding pastor of Jesus Saves Fellowship International, Yola branch, Reverend Mbotor Patrick, remarked that the church was highly favoured to have been considered for such a gesture The Imam of Ansar-UrDeen Mosque, Luggere, Mallam Abdullahi Ismail, appreciated the gesture, adding that the health sensitisation would help in dispelling the unfounded claims about the virus.
