Former President of the Senate and Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Mr. Peter Moro, the beloved son of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, who lost his life in a ghastly motor accident.

The accident occurred last Saturday around the Mararaba area in Nasarawa State, near Abuja.

It was gathered that the Senate Minority Leader had only recently lost his grandson to a brief illness.

In a condolence message to Senator Moro, Senator Mark said: “I received the heartbreaking news with great shock and profound sadness.

“This devastating incident is a painful reminder of the fragility of life, and our hearts go out to you and the entire family at this most difficult time.

“The loss of a child is one of life’s heaviest blows, and I can only imagine the depth of grief that this tragedy has brought upon your family. I stand in solidarity with you as you mourn your beloved son.

“I pray that God, in His infinite mercy, will grant you and your family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

“I also pray for the peaceful repose of Peter’s soul and ask that the Almighty comforts the bereaved family, offering you strength, hope, and consolation in this dark hour.

“May the departed rest in perfect peace.”
