Adamu (by SMS)
Heartburn is a burning sensation in the chest caused by acid reflux, while an ulcer is a sore in the stomach lining or small intestine, often leading to more severe symptoms.
A common digestive condition characterized by a burning sensation in the chest, often caused by stomach acid flowing back into the esophagus (acid reflux). It can occur after eating or when lying down and is often associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) if it happens frequently.
Ulcer is a sore or lesion that forms on the lining of the stomach or the first part of the small intestine (duodenum). Ulcers can be caused by factors such as Helicobacter pylori infection or long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
