Alhaja Awanat Akinade-Fijabi has, through her Awanat Fijabi foundation, boosted the morale of youths participation in sports and entertainment in Akinyele Local Government, by donating kits to all footballers in the Sasa domain.
The philanthropist recently fulfilled her promise made to Akinyele football club by donating jerseys, socks, and other football materials at a ceremony held to honour the occasion.
In her opening remarks, Fijabi acknowledged and recognised the presence of His Royal Highness, Oba James Oluyemi Odeniran (Alakinyele of Akinyele Land) and his wife, Olori Olajumoke Odeniran, who graced the occasion, and appreciated the management of Akinyele Football Club and their coaches for promoting footballers at the grassroots level.
