The newly posted unit commander for Argungu unit, ACC Aliyu Maaji who was formerly the zonal public education officer has warned staff of the command to shun all act of bribery, extortion and racketeering or be shown the way out of the commission.
Maaji stated this in a meeting with members of staff of the command while trying to chart a new road map with them.
He further charged staff to key into the good work charted for the zone by the zonal commander ACM Kayode Olagunju, saying the zone is doing a lot to improve on public education, enforcement and engineering.

The unit commander urged members of staff of the unit to get ready for the challenge of the new number plate and riders licence enforcement which will commence by 2nd, October 2019.
Maaji, however, thanked the emirate council, stakeholders and unions for their continuous support to the FRSC programmes and policies promising to carry all along in the journey aimed at reducing road crashes to the nearest minimum.
He stressed that very soon, the command would introduce a stakeholders forum that would be meeting on monthly basis to discuss safety issues aimed at reducing overloading and reckless driving.
“This command would also liaise with the emirate and train their drivers free of charge,” he assured.
