The Personal Assistant Domestic (North-East) Office of the Vice President of Nigeria, Comr. Mahmud Muhammad, has been honoured by the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN).
He was given the national title of Fellow Nigerian Youth (fyn), as contained in a statement released on Sunday by the National Speaker, Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Rt Hon. Shuibu Sani, with the ranking national ambassador and leader of the North East, Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan (fny).
According to the statement, Comr. Mahmud Mohammed was given the honour because of his commitment and dedication to the youth constituency and the present generation.
YAN stressed that he has been a good representative of youths and a symbol of hope to the present generation, stressing that “we are very proud of him.”
“We equally thank the Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Sen. Kashim Shettima, GCON, for appointing such a brilliant and dedicated personality,” YAN further stated.
The organisation added that “Comr. Mahmud Mohammed is an exceptional leader with skills and a true Nigerian and future leader. We equally call on all the youths that were given political appointments across the country to emulate him.”
They stressed that “for us to pay back to our constituency,. Together, we can move to the next level of development and a better Nigeria. The Youth Assembly of Nigeria is committed to nation-building, good Nigeria, and progress.”
According to Yan, “Nigeria is a training ground for parliamentary leaders and a beacon of hope for future leaders. We here by pass a vote of confidence on Comr Mahmud Mohammed after honouring him with the title.”
