The management of Peexoo Technologies has explained that the decision to launch Peexoo, a revolutionary platform for photographers and content creators, was informed by the need to avail the nation’s content creators a channel to showcase their talents and connect with trusted clients.
Speaking at the formal unveiling of the platform to the media, in Lagos, recently, Co-founder, Peexoo Technologies, and Chief Executive Officer, The Bulb Africa, Mr Wande Adams, stated that the newly-launched platform would also enhance creativity in the country, and enable local content creators to change the negative narratives about the country.
According to him, the platform also provides an opportunity for photographers, contents creative and developers to share their works on the platform, and showcase their talents to the world.
He expressed the hope that being on the platform would go a long way in enhancing the market value of such photographers and content creators, while also showing to the world the positive sides of Nigeria and Africa.
Adams further disclosed that the company had also signed a partnership deal with a financial institution and Canon to ensure the viability and sustainability of the project.
This, he added, would enable content creators to access some funds to purchase the necessary work tools, that will enhance their skills.
Another Co-Founder, Steven Nwadike, explained that the new Peexoo platform would enable content creators to manage the end-to-end part of their business.
According to him, despite the array of highly skilled content creators in the country, only a few are able to realise their potential due to a lack of equipment to work with.
“What we are doing at Peexoo is that besides providing creators, from this part of the world the opportunity to showcase their works, and get patronage, we are also partnering with some finance house and Canon to enable such creators buy the much-needed equipment and pay later,” he stated.
Expressing her delight at the partnership, Country Manager, Canon, Mrs Omotayo Omodia, noted that besides empowering content creators, the platform would also go a long way in changing the ugly narratives about Nigeria and the African continent.
“At least it would provide a platform where beautiful images about the country can be sought and got,” she stated.
