ICYMI: These US stores open on Christmas Day

Christmas Day, celebrated annually on 25 December, holds deep significance for Christians worldwide as it commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.

The occasion is marked by worship services, carol singing, and nativity plays that retell the story of Christ’s birth in Bethlehem.

Families come together to share festive meals, exchange gifts, and reflect on the themes of love, joy, and goodwill that define the celebration. For many, it is also an opportunity to extend kindness to others through acts of charity and generosity.

While many Americans will spend the day enjoying hearty meals, attending church services, or watching sporting events, some may find themselves in need of last-minute groceries.
