The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, has congratulated the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party in the last general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday anniversary.
Mr Peter Gregory Obi is a businessman and politician who served as Governor of Anambra State under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) from March to November 2006, February to May 2007, and June 2007 to March 2014.
According to the congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the governor stated that on behalf of the government and good people of Anambra State, “we join other well meaning Nigerians to wish Mr Peter Obi happy birthday.” He equally prayed for long life and good health as he marks his 62nd birthday anniversary.”
Also, the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District at the 10th National Assembly, Senator Tony Nwoye has congratulated Obi on the occasion of his birthday.
Nwoye, in his congratulatory Message described “Mr Obi as a man of integrity, a humble and uncompromising Nigerian who gave his best in service to our Dear State Anambra during his time in office as the Executive Governor of the State. He has also distinguished himself in all he has ventured into.
“On the occasion of your 62nd birthday, on behalf of my family, the good people of Anambra North Senatorial Zone and Anambra State. I wish you good health, more wisdom and success in all your endeavours.
“On this special day that you turn 62 years old, may God continue to guide and protect you for us and Nigerians. May He cause His face to shine on you, you will never know sorrow. May every day of this new year fill your life with good things and may you always have reasons to be grateful. You shall continue to age with strength and grace,” the statement concluded.
