In what could be described as a commendable act of generosity, Hon. Deji Ogunsakin, a former deputy governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, has officially launched the Better Life Foundation, aimed at supporting and uplifting the lives of the vulnerable in society.
During the inaugural event, Hon. Ogunsakin, a former Chairman of the Ado-Ekiti Local Government Area, donated essential food items and cash gifts to widows in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.

He reaffirmed his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need in society.
He said, “This initiative focuses on promoting welfare and enhancing the quality of life for marginalized groups, with a vision of fostering hope and resilience in society.”
Some of the widows who spoke during the event commended Hon. Ogunsakin’s philanthropic gesture, describing it as timely and something that would go a long way in alleviating their sufferings.
A special prayer session was held for Hon. Ogunsakin by the beneficiaries, during which they prayed for more of God’s blessings and grace upon his life.
