I have been having stomach ache for the past few weeks this is despite treatments for Ulcer and Indigestion. Kindly let me know what to do to solve the problem.

The most important approach to any stomach ache is to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis before resorting to self -medication. This is because the abdomen has many organs which when diseased can present as ‘stomach ache’ Once the diagnosis of your ailment has been confirmed to be a non-surgical issue, then the following steps will help you to reduce or totally cure you of any form of stomach ache; Avoid foods that trigger symptoms. Common culprits are caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, and spicy, acidic, or fatty foods.
Eat smaller, more frequent meals so your stomach does not distend and can empty quickly. Chew your food slowly and completely. Avoid activities that result in swallowing excess air, such eating quickly, chewing gum, drinking carbonated beverages, and smoking.
Avoid lying down within two hours of eating. Keep your weight under control. In addition, it is important to reduce stress through the use of; relaxation therapies and exercises such as walking. It is also important to get enough rest by going to bed and get up at the same times each day as well as avoiding caffeine after noon.
