A Yaba Chief Magistrate Court has ordered the remand of Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, Usifo Ataga, in prison for 30 days.
Magistrate, Mrs Adeola Adedayo issued the order pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution.
Tribune Online reports that Ataga’s body was found in a pool of blood inside a hotel room where he and Chidinma had spent the night.
When paraded by the police after her arrest, Chidinma, a 300-level student of the University of Lagos admitted that she stabbed Ataga thrice.
She, however, changed her position in another interview, saying she knows nothing about the murder.
Ataga has since been buried at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos.
