Lagos State Commissioner for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has announced that numerous structures obstructing the free flow of rainwater in Lagos will be removed.
Wahab posted this on his X-handle platform on Wednesday, 3rd July, 2024.
Reacting to today’s heavy downpour, which caused flooding in many areas, he asserted that the removal of illegal structures will proceed regardless of the status of their owners.
