A House of Assembly candidate of the Labour Party in Ogun State, Mrs Bukola Adesanya, has dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adesanya until her defection was the LP Assembly candidate for Ijebu North-East State Constituency in the forthcoming election.
She joined APC with many of her supporters during the grand finale rally of the APC governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun, ward to ward campaign of Ijebu -Ode, on Monday.
Adesanya said her decision to jettison her ambition was based on the directive of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, that all sons and daughters of Ijebuland and the entire Ogun East senatorial district must support the candidacy of Abiodun.
