There were many winners at the C.S Park, Aba, venue of the Legend Real Deal Experience, which paraded the duo of Harrysong and Orezi as they both thrilled their fans to an evening of fun and magical moments.
While some went home with TVs, generator sets and refrigerators at the show that attracted hundreds of youths within and outside the state, 32-year-old Chukwudi went home with Harrysong’s N3.5 million rolex wrist watch and could not contain his excitement.
Both Harrysong and Orezi proved to the organisers of the show that having them on the stage was not a mistake as they literally raised dust of excitement with their performances that lasted for hours. While Orezi performed his biggest hits, ‘Rihanna’, ‘You Garrit’, ‘Shoki’, ‘Shuperu’ and his latest jam, Call the Police, Alter Plate boss, Harrysong, who is now a proud owner of a record label dished out hit songs such as ‘Better Pikin’ and ‘Ofeshe’ Samankwe.
They capped up their performnace with Harrysong’s Raggae Blues, which featured Orezi himself. The audience obviously had more than they bargained for, as some of them would not even leave the stage even after the show ended.
The event, which was hosted by popular comedian, De Don, also saw lucky consumers win other consolation prizes such as T-shirts, free drinks, and other exciting instant prizes.
Speaking with R on his decision to give out his Rolex, Harrysong said he never planned to do such, but the level of love shown him by in Aba made him part with the expensive wrist watch. “I feel like I needed to show them love back. They chorused my songs lines after lines and I was almost moved to tears. The excitement was so much that I had to give out my Rolex wrist watch worth over N3 million.”
