I am allergic to fresh fish

Each time I eat fresh fish, I come out with a lot of rashes on my face and body. This has been going on now for the past four years. I love fresh fish but I am now in a dilemma. Please help me.

Certain individuals react differently to different food items, fish inclusive. This is due to the caustic reaction of the protein in the food items with the body.  Fishes caught with chemicals rather than in the traditional way of using hooks and nets have been incriminated with the high incidence of allergies. It is therefore important for you to scrutinize the source of the fish you consume. In addition, seeing a doctor, especially a skin specialist for some skin tests will also go a long way in knowing what actually triggers off your allergy. However, if all the above steps fail, then you have no choice but to avoid fresh fish and look for an alternative.
