Ahead of the forthcoming election of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the Zamfara-born aspirant for the post of NFF president, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has been endorsed by his kinsmen.
The NFF Presidential aspirant, Ibrahim Musa Gusau formally declared his intention to contest today in Gusau, Zamfara State capital in a mammoth crowd, during a meeting with Football stakeholders in the state.
Stakeholders who converged in Gusau during the official declaration of Ibrahim Musa Gusau assured that the Nigeria Football Federation will have a new President to pilot the affairs of the nation’s football administration for the next four years.
“Nigeria Football deserves the best, talking about the best, one name surely rings a bell, and that name is no any other than Ibrahim Musa Gusau”.
The Zamfara State-born aspirant, Ibrahim Musa Gusau was endorsed all-heartedly by Gusau Emirate Council, Directorate of sports Development, fourteen local government area Football association Chairmen, Zamfara state sports writers association (SWAN), friends and well-wishers in the state.
According to stakeholders, Ibrahim Musa a traditional title holder of Kigon Gusau has been within the set-up of Nigeria Football for decades and performed his assigned duties diligently, knowing where he was found wanting.
“His vast experience as a government official coupled with his down-to-earth attitude puts him more credible, reliable and capable next president to pilot the affairs of NFF”.
The NFF Presidential aspirant Ibrahim Musa disclosed that he declared to contest after much consultations with stakeholders to be the next football administrator in the country.
He maintained that his aspiration as NFF president is to bring more of his experience to the development of football in Nigeria.
