Kwara state governor-elect, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has congratulated Christians on the successful completion of the Lent and Easter celebration.
In his Easter message, issued by his media aide, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor-elect said that the Easter period, “reminds everyone of the sacrifice, selflessness, and commitment of Jesus Christ”, and, therefore called on Nigerians, especially people of the state, to reflect on the lessons of season and translate same to everyday event in their lives.

“I call on Nigerians to be one another’s brothers and to relate with one another on the basis of common brotherhood, love, and generosity”, he said.
He also urged everyone to also strive to bequeath a legacy of peace and selflessness to the coming generations, as did Jesus Christ.
“Let all of us be the change we want to see in our world. Let us come together for common good. Let us show kindness, and shun crimes and violence,” AbdulRazaq said.
