Gboribiogha also said despite the fact that the state government is calling for peace, it would not fold its arm and watch hoodlums and miscreants breach existing laws in the state.
While briefing newsmen at his office, Government House, Yenagoa, Gboribiogha further said the call for peace became necessary because further crisis may cripple economic activities and development in the area.
He said “this is not about APC thugs attacking PDP loyalists. It is about some hoodlums attacking Ada-ama community, killing innocent lives and destroying properties whort millions of Naira.

“The State Government is dismayed by this act. And report reaching us indicates that the said violence was sponsored by some highly placed individuals for political purposes.
“The State Government has directed the law enforcement agencies to carry out thorough investigation into the activities of the said hoodlums and ensure they are prosecuted.
“The State Government hereby call on all well-meaning persons in Twon Brass to remain law-abiding, as government is taking all necessary lawful measures towards maintaining peace, law and order.”
