Fans of the BBNaija show saw five of their favourite housemates put up for possible eviction this Sunday at the end of the brief first live nomination show on Monday night.
With Boma winning the second Head of House game, the housemates were immediately asked to gather in the lounge for the live nominations show. Ebuka then announced that the wildcards, Pere and Maria get exclusive nomination rights. They had the power to nominate four housemates each, with the exception of the head of house, for possible eviction on Sunday.
Maria nominated Yerins, Beatrice, Jaypaul and Whitemoney while Pere, who also seemed to have a difficult time choosing four housemates to put up for possible eviction eventually chose Beatrice and Yerins. He added Niyi and Whitemoney to complete his four nominations.
In a surprising twist, the head of house, Boma, used his veto power to save Jaypaul and replaced him with Yousef, immediately placing the latter up for possible eviction. In the same breath, Boma appointed Jackie-B as his deputy Head of House.
Beatrice, Yerins, Whitemoney, Yousef, and Niyi were immediately put up for possible eviction. At least one of them will be evicted during the live eviction show on Sunday at 7 pm. Their fans will have to rally to save their favourites.
Meanwhile, a lot of action is beginning to happen in the house after the shakeup occasioned by the nominations. Maria, reeling off guilt for nominating WhiteMoney has also been feeling lonely or rather disrespected by her closest friend, Pere, who according to her, kissed Angel too passionately in a game of truth or dare. Claiming not to be jealous, she spent the last four days avoiding him.
Angel, Sammie, Liquorose and Emmanuel have failed to successfully sail in their respective relationships while fans wait with bated breath. Sammie has moved on to Peace, who, for now, has refused his advances to stay true to her friendship with Angel.
Saga remains caught in the middle between Aarin and Nini and fans still haven’t been able to understand that relationship. While Aarin claims to only like Saga as a friend, she is almost always found next to him. Fans have also complained that she gossips and instigates a lot.
Beatrice and Yousef have come out of their shells but fans are hoping it is not too late. Boma, according to fans of the show, may be confused about his fondness for Jackie B and other girls in the house, notably Nini. These and more were some of the happenings that shaped the show this week.
