For those who are familiar with social circles in Ogun State, Yeyeluwa Folake Sonubi-Ogunremi is no strange face. Though the popular socialite has been a member of the main opposition party since inception but apparently not satisfied with her trademark footprint on the social scene, the retired headmistress, woman activist, business guru and grassroots mobiliser has decided to move from the background of politics to the main turf.
Come next year, Yeyeluwa Sonubi-Ogunremi is eyeing a seat in her state House of Assembly to represent her Offin, Sagamu constituency. Currently, all eyes are on her as she seems to be the only woman in Ogun State so far, who has made an audacious move to step into the murky waters of politics, gunning for a major position.
