This award therefore stands for a form of encouragement and should be supported. He further stated his intention to run for Oyo state governorship come 2019.

The award, which is the maiden edition of the organisation, Connerstone Media Concept, awarded not less than 50 people amongst whom are indigenes and those whose businesses are prominent in Oyo State.
Fakayode Tobiloba, one of the organisers pointed out that the “award ceremony celebrates those whom through what they do, have impacted in Oyo State, a way of telling them they are recognised. The concept of this event is said to be one intended to make a difference.”
People as well as organisations were awarded. Amongst those who are awarded are Afeez Oyetoro (Saka) who was also the anchor of the programme, Hon Minister of Communication, Hon Adebayo Shittu, Olaniyi Afonja (Sanyeri), an actor, Yinka Ayefele, a musician, Fresh FM, Ace Tailoring, Jogor Centre, Dj Sexy, Peteru, Woli Agba, Tiwa the tailor, Alh Chief SikirullahiTitilola Sodo, Hon Toye Arulogun, Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Alh Babatunde Saheed, Journalist/presenter at Fresh FM, Hon Akeem Adeniyi, representing Afijio/Oyo east/Oyo West/Atiba Fedral Constituency, National Assembly Abuja and many others.
According to Saka: “the event is about celebrating Oyo State and individuals who have contributed immensely to the development of the state as well as appreciating those people who have taken their time to add value to other peoples’ lives.”
