On Saturday, 3rd June, 2023, the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, was filled to the brim with VIP guests and the city rich who came for the launch of ‘Emilokan’ fabrics.
It was an all ‘Eko For Show’ gathering put together by savvy entrepreneur and Chairman of ZGM Investment, Abbey Onas, who made the new design in honour of the Nigerian President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Onas, while launching the fabrics, hinted that his purpose of coming up with the idea is not only to celebrate the President alone, but for the brand to stick in people’s memories just like the ‘Atiku’ fabric named after the former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
He furthermore explained that the fabrics, made in Switzerland, enjoys a unique edge for its standard and top notch quality.
The launch was a glamorous event attended by the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Oba Tokunbo Tejuoso, billionaire, Lanre Rasak, Alhaji Tajudeen Owoyemi, representatives of the Lagos State and Kwara State Governors and other prominent businessmen and women.
