Voting commences at South-West PDP congress

Voting in the South-West congress of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), began at 4.30 pm, with delegates from Ekiti State taking the lead.

Out of the expected number of 115 delegates from Ekiti State, 104 delegates were accredited and have begun casting their ballots.

After Ekiti State, delegates from Lagos State are expected to follow as Chairman, Electoral/Congress committee, Mr Benson Abounu, had announced that voting will be in alphabetical order of states.

Lagos State will be followed by Ogun, Ondo, Osun with delegates from Oyo State to vote last.
