Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, an aerospace engineer residing in the United States of America, has expressed his enthusiasm over the partnership between Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) in Oko, Kwara State, and Bowie State University (BSU) in Maryland, USA.
In a statement issued from the USA and shared with journalists on Wednesday, Adeyemi, a native of Esie, Irepodun local government area, hailed the collaboration as a significant step forward for the Kwara South senatorial district and the entire state, recognizing its potential for growth and development.
He extended his congratulations to the TAU management for laying the groundwork for cooperation, urging them to stay focused to achieve their objectives.
Adeyemi highlighted that the MoU with BSU would align with TAU’s vision of becoming a global university, facilitating research, and academic exchanges, and attracting international students.

The collaboration entails joint research projects, grant management, academic events, personnel exchanges, student programs, and shared resources.
He lauded Engineer (Chief) J.B.O Adewumi for the accomplishment, expressing pride in the achievement and emphasizing its positive impact on Oko town, Irepodun local government, and Kwara South.
Ultimately, the successful implementation of the MoU is expected to foster development, capacity building, and job creation, positioning TAU as a leading institution.
