Tradeflow Africa, an ecosystem of dynamic solutions to the trade challenges faced in Africa, has teamed up with SalesPlat Technologies to support entrepreneurship in Ondo State, Nigeria. This partnership aims to provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and funding opportunities to boost economic development in Ondo.
Tradeflow Africa offers two major SME-friendly initiatives, the Intra-African Traders’ Center (IATC) and Global-Africa Trade, to systematically ease the inclusion and increase the participation of Agricultural and FMCG SMEs in the flourishing regional and global trade.
With these initiatives, Tradeflow Africa positioning as the ‘Access to Markets’ partner for SMEs, actively educates participating SMEs on the importance of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and global trade, encourages knowledge sharing across markets, provides seamless access to buyer-seller networks, insurance, supply chain finance, logistics as well as payments and collections.
“Africa’s entrepreneurial talent drives the continent’s economic growth,” said Ijidolapo Ijiwoye, Founder and CEO of Tradeflow Africa. “By contributing our business expansion capabilities to SalesPlat’s program, we can support Ondo-based entrepreneurs to scale their businesses regionally and globally.”
SalesPlat is leading the Ondo initiative as part of its mission to drive individual and economic growth across Africa, starting in Nigeria. The program commences on June 15th, 2024 with the Entrepreneurs Virtual Summit, featuring industry leaders and subject matter experts. This will be followed by a 5-day accelerator from June 18th to 22nd, 2024, providing intensive training across business fundamentals such as sales, marketing, financial management, and operations. Participants will also have access to funding through pitch competitions.
Tradeflow Africa’s role in the partnership is pivotal. The organization offers real-time market intelligence, compliance support, distribution network access, and other cross-border trade enablement services tailored to support the diverse needs of entrepreneurs.
“Our partnership with Tradeflow Africa connects Ondo entrepreneurs to regional opportunities from day one,” said Olatunde Victor, SalesPlat’s Founder. “With their support, our accelerator startups can explore expansion by tapping into vital trade knowledge and partnerships.”
By facilitating connections between the global and continental Tradeflow ecosystem and emerging businesses coming out of the accelerator, the collaboration aims to open new markets and growth avenues. “This program has the potential to transform Ondo State into an entrepreneurial and trade hub through unlocking the state’s immense commercial potential,” added Ijidolapo Ijiwoye, Founder and CEO of Tradeflow Africa.
Joining forces, SalesPlat and Tradeflow Africa are set to provide a holistic support system for Ondo entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the reliable market intelligence, adequate compliance support, vast distribution networks, financial resources, and strategic partnerships needed to succeed.
