A male suicide bomber has been shot behind the University of Maiduguri UNIMAID in Borno state.
A security source told newsmen in Maiduguri that the suicide bomber was shot as he was trying to sneak into the premises of the University’s cordoned area.
A loud sound was heard within the University community, which kept some students on their toes, residents of part of Fori and Mairi area when the boy was shot and killed for daring to move closer to the university community.
