The Pipeline Professionals Association of Nigeria (PLAN) is set to address challenges and explore innovative solutions in pipeline technology and security.

Chairman of PLAN, Engr. Geoff Onuoha, revealed that how to advance pipeline technology and security would take the central stage during the 8th edition of the Nigeria Pipeline Technology and Security Conference (NIPITECS)in Abuja, starting this week.

According to  Onuoha, the conference remained a flagship event designed to address the industry’s challenges.

The theme, “Pipelines – Critical Assets for National Economic Development and Environmental Sustainability,” the chairman said it highlighted the importance of pipelines as essential infrastructure for Nigeria’s economic growth and environmental stewardship.

Stakeholders, including industry leaders, experts, and policymakers from Nigeria, Africa, and the diaspora are expected at the forum.

Attendees can look forward to keynote presentations, panel discussions, and an exhibition showcasing the latest advancements in pipeline technology and services.
