A nineteen-year-old boy, Chinonye Okorie has been paraded by the Anambra State Police Command over alleged stealing of a female pant for ritual purposes.
The suspect, a Senior Secondary School student is a native of Ogbaku in Imo State and residing at number twenty-one Umunna Street Odoakpu Onitsha was caught by a sister of the pant owner while trying to steal it where it was spread on a rope at their residence.
Parading the suspect, the state Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, Mr Haruna Muhammed disclosed that the suspect was arrested on eleventh of this Month by Police detectives attached to the Central Police Station Onitsha following a report by the pant owner.
He said that the pant had been recovered from the suspect who will be charged to court after investigations as efforts are still on to apprehend other accomplices.

Mr Mohammed implored the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious act or movement in their environment to the nearest Police station for prompt action.
Confessing to the crime, the suspect said he was lured into the dastardly act by three men who blocked him with their vehicle on his way back from school, promising to change his life with the sum of eighty thousand nairas if he succeeds in bringing them a lady’s pant.
Mr Okorie while pleading for leniency said his employers disappeared immediately after he was caught.
The victim disclosed that over five pants belonging to her and her siblings have been missing before the recent incident.
