The Adamawa State Police Command on Friday arrested two notorious armed robbers alleged to have been terrorising Malamre, Bekaji and Karewa neighbourhoods in the state capital.
The arrest was disclosed in a press release signed by the command’s image maker, DSP Sulaiman Nguroje.

“On the 13/3/2020 between the hours of 2 am and 3 am, the police apprehended a gang of house-to-house armed robbers who have been terrorising Malamre, Bekaji and Karewa Quarters and recovered a lot of stolen properties from the suspects.
“The command equally called on the general public, especially those that were robbed of their belongings to report to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and claim their properties with proofs.
“The command while appreciating members of the general public, equally advised public to report to police any suspected criminals around them and reassure the general public of its commitment to protect lives and properties,” Nguroje said.
