A middle aged man, Ojo Olalekan, has been arrested by the men of the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly hacking into the Facebook account of a serving lawmaker in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Ojo Adebowale Viwanue.
The lawmaker representing IIpokia/Idiroko State Constituency, had reported the suspect to the Police before he was eventually nabbed somewhere in Lagos State.
The suspect until his arrest is said to be a guard with a security outfit in Lagos.
He was said to have been using the medium to defraud unsuspecting members of the public and made confessional statement to the effect.
The Divisional Police Office attached to Ibara Division in Abeokuta, CSP Abiodun Bakare, deployed his men to track down the suspect.
The state commissioner of police, Ahmed Iiiyasu, has ordered that the suspect be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
