The job as Turkey boss became available during the summer after the previous manager Fatih Terim was sacked after he was filmed fighting with a restaurant owner.
The former England manager was available this summer after stepping down from Crystal Palace citing health reasons.
Allarcyde says he was contacted but rejected the approach, and he recently said he has no immediate desire to return to football.
He told ‘Sky Sports’: “(I’m not missing it) at all at the moment,” he said. “I think my life is very active in talking about football. I’ve just recently been to Kuala Lumpur doing some TV stuff with Steve McManaman and I’ve come back and will be with Jim White on talkSPORT.”
Turkey, who currently sit in third place in World Cup qualifying Group I, instead opted for former Romania and Shakhtar Donetsk boss Mircea Lucescu.
