Barrister Adekunle Olumuyiwa Ishola, the son of former Oyo State governor Chief Kolapo Ishola, has passed away.
His death was confirmed in a statement signed by Amos Akinlabi Ishola on behalf of the family and made available to the Nigerian Tribune on Thursday.
Ishola, aged 63, died on Tuesday following a brief illness.
The statement read, “With a deep sense of loss but total submission to the will of Almighty God, the ISHOLA family wishes to announce the passing on to glory of our dearly beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Father Barrister Adekunle Olumuyiwa ISHOLA on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024, after a brief illness.
“He died at the age of 63 years.
“Barrister Kunle Ishola was the former Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources and Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Oyo State.
“He is survived by his wife, a son, and other family members.”
