Facts emerged on Sunday that the task before the recently inaugurated Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) reconciliation committee is encapsulated in four terms of reference.
As contained in a public notice put out by Secretary of the reconciliation committee, Mr Gbade Lana, the committee is mandated to propose mechanisms for resolving internal crisis/misunderstanding before it further snowballs.
Among others, the former governor Adebayo Alao Akala led committee also has a task to propose a strategy to reposition and populate the Oyo APC.

Especially, the reconciliation team is expected to meet with all APC candidates in the 2019 elections, APC aspirants with or without forms, APC returnees and non-APC members.
In meeting with the various groups of persons, the committee is meant to identify contentious issues, offer suggestions and target reconciling people with the party.
Chairman, Oyo APC, Chief Akin Oke had on May 28 inaugurated the reconciliation committee, with members including Senator Teslim Folarin, Honourable Segun Odebunmi, Honourable Niran Alarape, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, Pa Akin Ojebode, Mr Olayide Abas, Mr Kamorudeen Ajisafe and Pa Adesola Adeleke.
