Multiple award-winning Nigerian artist, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has called out Osun State Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Umar Abba, over his alleged involvement in the ongoing crisis in the state.
Tribune Online reports that Davido’s uncle and governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, on Sunday alleged that there was a plot to unleash violence on the state on Monday (today) by some federal officials.
The governor accused the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, of spearheading the move in active collaboration with the Osun State Commissioner of Police, the Osun State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), and the state Commandant of the Civil Defence Corps.
According to him, Oyetola, in collaboration with the state security chiefs, is planning to return to office council chairmen who have been previously sacked by two different judgments of the Federal High Court, Osogbo.
Adeleke told the public to hold Oyetola and the Osun State security chiefs responsible for any breakdown of order in the state from today and beyond.
Reacting to the development in a series of tweets on Monday, Davido urged the Osun State police chief to respect the rule of law and do the right thing.
The ‘Fem’ crooner stated that he would be posting and calling out the police chief every day until the right thing is done.
He tweeted, “Mr commissioner respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us !! Make we all kuku mad !! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post u everyday everywhere Mr man !!! Try me fucker.”
In another tweet, he wrote, “Mr Umar abba osun state commissioner u are a disgrace to ur children !! !!! Game on FUCKER !!!! All of us go mad together !! Werey!!!”
