This disclosure was made in Osogbo, capital of Osun on Wednesday by the chairman of Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC), Mr Segun Oladitan during a press conference.
This development came 10 years after the state bid to conduct local government poll had been stalled by legal cases, which commenced from Osun State High Court to the Federal Court of Appeal level.
As of the time of filing this report, it could not be ascertained the total number of local governments and newly created Local Council Development Authorities (LCDAs), where the January 27 would be held.
But, Oladitan said the electoral body may likely hold in 378 Wards.
