Na’Allah also charged KWASU staff to continue to do all that is required to be counted among exceptional scholars in the country, saying “that scholarship is all about rigour and vigour.”
He noted that determination, selflessness and dexterity among the university staff had kept the state-owned institution going in the face of crunching economic crisis, four years after the state government stopped giving the annual subvention, adding that, “it’s our destiny to succeed.”
The Vice Chancellor, who said that the award was meant to keep the university staff active and productive, added that it would also serve as a motivation for better performance.
