Nigerian project, a collective effort

I was surfing through the internet one fateful evening and I saw a quote “abeg go and get your PVC and vote Buhari out”, I first of all opine that this person must be a concerned Nigerian but cutting off a head is not a proper antidote for headache. There is no doubt that Nigeria is in a dismal and peculiar mess and we need both a proactive and reactive measure to combat it. This delicate and intricate situation at hand is like a two sided jagged sword that if not properly handled, we will keep outsourcing the blame that belongs to our own backyard.

We should all be very careful come 2019 and should all learn from antecedents, I can remember vividly how the then leading  opposition party painted the then ruling party with untrue statistics and the likes, we all know what’s happening currently, we should not fall into the same pit of hell all in the name of changing the ruling party. We all have the right to choose our next leader but we must choose the leader who embodies the best this nation has to offer, our choice must be devoid of ethnocentrism, nepotism, favoritism, dogma, conspiracy resentment and

To those well-meaning Nigerians who are politically apathetic, “evil can only triumph over evil if good people stand by and watch”, we need you and I implore you to participate positively and actively for the betterment and common goal of this country. To those youth who are   motivated by the greed for money come 2019, remember the pain and suffering you will have us endure again, if those people have our interest in mind they won’t offer you money. To those political gladiators who are ready to bamboozle and brainwash the general public especially the young blood with their sugarcoated propagandistic write-ups and information and paint themselves as messiahs and saints we are waiting for, we will not fall for your pettiness and we will defeat you.

Finally, to our religious leaders, let us help this nation to go back to her glory days and soar to her greatness, don’t stoop so low to the political players nor use faith as a wedge to divide us. Every decision we make in 2019 will be felt by everyone and the posterity.
