My first acting experience was scary —Adesiyan Aramide

For many budding actors, taking their first steps into the world of performing arts can be a daunting experience.

Nigerian actress Adesiyan Aramide, known for her roles in movies like “Ire,” “Fesojaiye,” “Kaamu among others has  opened up about her foray into acting, saying that her early experiences in front of the camera were nothing short of terrifying.

Aramide who said she joined the Nigerian film industry in 2018 disclosed that she has embarked on the dream to become one of the best thespians in Africa.

She recalled her first encounter with the spotlight as a “nerve-racking experience”, describing it as “scary and awkward.”

Despite her initial jitters, Aramide stated that she has come a long way in her acting career, adding that “With each role, I have grown as a performer and found my comfort zone in the ever-evolving world of Nigerian cinema”.

Her journey in the industry has seen her rise to prominence, and she’s set her sights on even greater accomplishments in the future.

She further stated that she wants to use her  story to inspire aspiring actors to face their fears head-on, knowing that even the most challenging beginnings can lead to rewarding journeys in the world of entertainment.
