Aminu, at the quarterly meeting of the body held at Agbaluku Arigidi Akoko Central Mosque last weekend, said Akoko people were living in fear due to incessant cases of kidnapping and robbery on Ikare-Oba Akoko Road.
At the meeting, a member of the Elders Forum of the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN), Alhaji Ibrahim Kilani, expressed dismay that very few Muslims were participating in partisan politics in Ondo State.
Kilani, however, urged the few to play politics with the fear of Allah and make honesty, service delivery and accountability their watchwords.
The Muslim leader urged eligible Muslim voters not to sell their votes but cast their ballot for conscientious candidates with records of high past performance.
